Shady Reed was swept of porthcawl pier on the 21/08/09
all his friends and family joined together on the saturday for a minute of silence.
He was missing for 7 days we were all finaly informed that he had been found on the tar mac beach at 6am
most of us relived that it was over and we were able to say goodbye but also deverstated that he had been taken away from us:(
his funeral was the friday after he had been found. It was a lovely service and I know that he would have been proud of it.
You will always be truly missed and never forgotten its strange how the nicest people are always taken instead of the bad people in the world.
We all love you soo soo much and we are here to help your family every step of the way, they are soo strong and you would be really proud of how well they are coping.

Hurts soo much, just knowing we will never see you again... I wish i really do wish you could come back i had a dream they other night everything happened all over again it was like reliving it but this time you came back and you were alive it was a happy ending just like the time we thought you were missing but you were sat in burgerking worried to go home incase you were in trouble. Shannon is soo much like you shes a little trooper shes done you proud shads she really has, i wish i could take away all this pain and upset from the family and i wish we could have one last moment together to say goodbyes i know your in a better place up there but in all honesty there is not better place than in the loving arms of your own family. All this will never go away you will never ever be forgotten each day without you means were one day closer to seeing you again and in all honesty i cant wait. I hope your looking after kayls up there and not leading her astray muaha;) love you loads and loads dude keep soldiering on up there for me!xxxx
